1980 Kawasaki KZ1000 Shaft Drive Seat
01 Apr 2007 14:14
Can anyone tell me what year and model seats will fit this bike? I need a seat pan for it as mine is rusted out. TIA, Jim R.
I noticed my pictures were too big. How can I shrink them down?

79-80 KZ1000ST fit. That's all. Sad but true. KZ1000ST was a very unique model.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

I parted out a 79 a few years back because I couldn't find a seat. It was a $200 junker but... BTW, one came up on ebay a week later.

I won't be doing that to this bike. Worst case scenario is that I will have to weld up sheet metal to the old pan to save it.
