I found this pic in the KZR gallery. I really like what he did with paint and stripes; considering doing something similiar myself but want to ask permission.
I'd also like to see a better/closer pic.
Anyone?

I'm not that familiar with the Bay area, but isn't that the Golden Gate bridge in the background? :huh:

There's only a few KZr members that I'm aware of living in the Bay area, and I don't recall any of them owning that bike.

yeah i remember reading about that bike when he posted it,thought he said it was some sort of former cop bike;)

Inline4, I don't think you need permission to paint your bike like someone else did. I doubt it's copyrighted! :woohoo:

I suppose "aking permission" wasn't the correct term to use. Just wanted to make sure he didn't have a problem with it. If someone ask me if it was OK to copy my paint scheme I'd take it as a compliment.B)

I ride all over the bay area, and I have never seen that bike. Not that that means anything!

If you really feel the need, I give you permission to copy that paint scheme.
Petaluma and Truckee, CA -- member since Jan. 23, 2003;
PREVIOUS KZs: 1980 KZ750H with 108,000 miles; 1980 KZ750E with 28,000 miles; and KZ750H street/cafe project, all sold a few years back.

This is what I do for fun, not for work. It is art, with a little engineering thrown in.
