stripes which is which ?

hi i got a new tail section on ebay last week it is the green for a twin , it has 3 green and one gold stripe
there is a new twin tank on this week , wish i could afford it it is the red with only 2 larger stripes one a red the other a gold
was there a change in decalls and design of later models ie which is the green and 4 stripes for does any one know ? will try to put a pic on of the green one, dont have much luck with pics so here goes

Graeme if memory serves correct the green tail section you have was used on the 1977 750 B2. Pretty much every year Kawasaki changed either the paint color or graphics on its bikes. Hope this helps.

do you know if the same stripes went around the tanks or did they reduce the number of stripes
either that or would any one have a pic of the 77 b2

Ok Graeme looks like my memory ain't as good as I thought, I saw this bike listed on Ebay and it would seem that your tail section is from a 78 not a 77 like I thought. I did poach the pictures the seller put on of the tank. Hope this is some help.
