Sorry Bill, I haven't been paying much attention the last couple weeks. The moderators have been displaying too much moderation. The uncivil behavior in this thread was allowed to go on too long.
As I see it, our problem is not disagreeing about modifications, or how long a project takes or whether fabrication vs bolt-on is the ticket... our problem is about manners.
I just emailed brother Stein and asked him to take some action. If any thread starts moving in the direction this thread went, I am going to delete it without hesitation... well, just because I can't stand bad manners.
