Being round and metal, not rubber, wouldn't they be slippery?

Those would make your bike a babe-manget!!! They like shiny things that sparkle!!! Once you put those on, the ladies will stand in line for a ride on your...bike.

Yeah, that's pretty dumb. I could almost see a reason for that if they had lights in them... but not quite.
