gas tanks

does anyone knows if a gas tank from kz 900 76 will fit to kz 1000 78 ?
or can i swap tanks from different years of make for same bike(kz 1000-78)

will swap no problem..... those two tanks take different fuel taps though

i wasn't sure.i know about petkocks they are different, because 78 has a diaphragm and 76 has just screw in petkock.
now i can sleep better.
anyway i think i posted this question on wrong place...
