I have a 1980 kz1000 shaft. I was wondering if I could use different forks to lower the bike if so which ones? I will be riding in town 50 mph maybe on the highway 80mph or less.Just thought I would mention the speed because I am using this for cruising not racing.
thanks

try sliding forks up into triple trees a little bit,but always make sure to lower rea at least same amount as front so you dont lose your hi-speed stability;)

Could that much compressing be due to worn springs? My forks act similiar.

change out your fork oil,i like synthetic 30w myself.i used to run 40w,but ive experimented with the synthetic 30w on a couple bikes and it seeems to be a good middle ground between that thin arse 10w everybody seems to like and the thick stuff ;)
