'89-90 ZX7 full front-end was pretty straightforward to adapt. However that leaves you clip-ons, so I went with a superbike kit (replace top triple clamp). Some threads out there about this, lemme check...

if you dont care to spend some extra cash and find a good machinest you can pretty much make most superbike front ends work by swaping the seering stems. the only reason i went this route is because i want a front end that noone else was running and want somthing real new. i am running a complete 2005 zzr1200 kawasaki front end.

the next project i am going to go with the inverted forks... i love the agresive streetfighter look it gives area old Z's

Im running a busa/tlr1000 front end with the six piston joints and all upside down and what not. The steering stem was a little short so I pressed it out and turned down the stop so it would set a little higher in the lower triple, that and a set of kz tappered bearings and bada boom bada bing.

Peace&Love:blink: , Darren

Can you guys tell me about fork length issuse? Do these forks lower the frontend,?How much roughly? How did you deal with this ? I just got some zx12 forks and it looks like I'm going to be about 3" lower.
