One thing not mentioned, don't get those cheap aluminum sprockets. Be sure what you get is steel. As far as chain types go the O-ring type is the best unless you have a small bike 250cc or under then it really doesn't matter.

EK, RK, Regina are just some brands out there that are excellent chains from what others have recommended. I solved my chain woes a better way though... shaft drive! B)

buy a good o ring chain and good sprockets and you wont have to worry about breaking down,its a cheap insurance policy!also while you have the back wheel off check your brakes and wheel bearings,if you dont have the money for new bearings atleast check them and repack with grease if they are servicable lunching a wheel bearing going down the road can turn your world upside down really fast also.;) goodluck,happy wrenching!
