I have an ltd seat laying around if you want it. Is that what your looking for? Anyway for the year of seat, I got a gunfighter off ebay a couple of years ago the was listed for a 73-76. It fit my 78, so I think you might be alright with anything from a 73-78.

The 76 KZ900 both standard and LTD will fit, the 77 KZ1000 to 78 KZ1000 Std will fit, and the 77 to 80 1000 LTD will fit. The earlier 73 to 75 Z1 had different spacing for the hinge pins so it is not a direct bolt on arrangement.

there's a good summary of 1973 -1980 seat fitment here:
www.redlinecycle.com/Seat%20Types.html
"All the 1973 thru 1980 900 & 1000 models that use a hinged seat have the hinges identically spaced........Therefore, the seat lock aside, all these seats will mount interchangeably on the different year/model frames....."
