YET ANOTHER SMALL PROBLUM WITH MY NEW BIKE

as you all might recall, i posted about my tank and sidecover woes. well thanks to great advice from pterosaur, (thank you so much pterosaur) i was able to braise the tank. not the best job but hey, i don't leak anymore. well i reassembled the bike and went for a damm cold ride today. on this ride, i noticed my speedo does not work. i checked the cable and it is fine. the speedo drive is also ok. next step was to remove it and just look at it to see if i notice anything. well low and behold, the small spring on the drive is twisted all to hell like some jackass tried to use a drill in reverse to take miles off the odometer. great, just what i needed. so does anyone know a company that can rebuild them? i checked all over e-bay but there is nothing there. i know the 700 and 1100 use the same cluster so does anyone have one laying around they want to part with? i am almost set for the winter since it was 32 degrees out when i woke up this morning. time is not really a factor till about march or april. this is a pic of it. thanks

Keep looking on Ebait or run a favorites search so you get an email when one shows up .. You can also try some online Junk yards ,, Ricepaddy.com is here in Ohio , I have had good luck with them ,, I also just got a part from Wisconsin Cycle that I didnt think was to far off either .. Just run some searches ??

There is a link on Jeff's Z-1 ent. site to a guy that does restoration work on speedo's. I know he does the older Z-1 and KZ 650 speedos I'm not sure if he does the newer stuff or not you might check with him.
