Any way to reseat seals with forks on the bike?

Title pretty much says it all. Just wondering if anyone has had success. I'm scouring the archives now but thought i'd throwit up. Thanks!

So far as I know that's a big negatory.
1980 KZ750-H1 (slightly altered)
1987 KZ1000-P6 "Ponch"
1979 GS1000 "Dadzuki"
