I've read through several of the posts on this site - very helpful, but I still have a couple questions. I purchased an early 80's gs1100 swingarm. After removing the GPZ 81's tube unit, I can see that the GS unit is 5/8's of an inch shorter(in width) where it attaches to the frame(hence spacers needed), but its also 1 full inch wider at the rear. I guess I'll need a longer axle and additional spacers for it to fit? The shock mounts could be a problem - they are also an inch wider and different mounting attachment, so I'm not sure how to handle that one... Comments appreciated/Brad
