Swingarm and fork stands was created by riverroad
I finally noticed that my KZ1000 no longer has its center stand, most likely due to the header being in the way. So I'm going to have to get me some shop stands for it.
Anybody have any recommendations on which one's fit the KZ1000 best?

There are many stand options in the $150 and up range. Check the major online places (denniskirk, jcwhitney) and also the back of a current motorcycle magazine - there are usually several there.

I had the same problem and just got a spare centerstand and pushed the bolts in place to hold it on for garage maintenance. I took the stand off for riding and just used it when I was doing tires, chain, oil, etc.

The big ATV/Bike jacks block everything and don't work well as they hit the exhaust.

That's a great idea floridamba! Sounds like the cheapest way to go. I'll look for one.
