How many miles has it been since repairs were done. . .and what is the part number of the Permatex stuff you used?

Same procedure on Z1 (single front disc) as previously on KZ900 LTD (dual front discs), with same mouse quiet result, and cannot make them squeal. Done in conjunction with complete caliper disassembly, cleaning and new rubber parts.

Not too many miles yet, just guessing 1000 each bike, including rain.

Here's what I used behind the pads:
