KZ650/KZ900 Shocks interchangeable??

This is probably an easy one.

Are the KZ650 shocks interchangeable with the KZ900 ones.

1983 GPZ750
1977 KZ1000LTD
1978 Z1R
1981 GPz1100 KZ1100-B1

I believe they are about the same length. I have a set of 650 shocks on one of my KZ900s and they work fine. The bushings are the same size so mounting is easy.

Thanks for the help. The reason I am asking is I have a chance to get a pair of used Koni shocks off of a 650. Are these shocks rebuildable?
