wheels.what models interchange?

Looking to replace my spokes with kaw mags and was wondering which kz models are easily interchangeable.I have a 77 kz1000.there is a set from a 650 on ebay.

While we're at it...

I'm wondering if I can swap out the mags on my KZ1000st for spoked wheels... was wondering if the other KZ wheels are adaptable to the shaft drive.

I don't believe the shaft wheels (rear at least) will interchange with non shaft wheels.

And I can assure you that the rear wheel off a 650 will not fit on a 77 1000 without some modifications, the axles are different sizes on the rear. Front should work though.

Do you have spoke wheels on now? The ltd wheels will fit. I have a set on my bike. You will need the brakes also. As for the shafty wheel swap-nope. Those wheels are for those two years only and nothing else will fit.
