I am going to use the 82 KZ1100 front end on my 78 KZ1000 after all and I was wandering can I use the speedo off the 1000 wich is cable cause the 1100 is eletronic.

78 KZ1000 work in progress in Hacienda Heights California and a 82 KZ1100 Spectra And a 1992 ZX11.

The wheel is the same size. IIRC the axle is the same too. So, the speedo drive should fit. Have you looked at the part diagrams on buykawasaki.com or mrcycles.com ? Sending you some email tomorrow.
