Adapting 45mm clip ons to Z650 forks

I found some 45mm clip on handlebars that I really like and got them for real cheap.

Is there any way to adapt these to the forks on my 1980 Z650 (which I believe are 35mm)?

I dont really have access to a welder which might make things difficult.

Could I set them up with a sleeve or something?

Not safely. Just get some that are the right size. :thumbup:

There's a guy on Ebay that sells some that will fit, brand new chrome ones, for like $45.00.

Thats what my conscience wanted to hear.

But get some that are 36mm, since that is what the 80 KZ650 fork diameter is (the F1 anyway)
