Corbin Seats for a 77 750 Twin

Their website lists gunfighter and lady seats for a 79 B3 but no other 70's B models. First of all, isn't a 79 considered a B4? They have a B4 listed as an 1980. (??)
Anyway, if this seat will fit a 79 B, then shouldn't it fit a 77 B? www.corbin.com/kawasaki/73kz.shtml

***ALSO DOES ANYONE HAVE A BACKREST, OR AT LEAST OF PIC, OF A BACKREST FOR THE STOCK SEAT OF A 70'S 750 TWIN?***

Yep, the '79 is a B4. The '78 is a B3. The '80 was not a "B" at all.
Anyway, if this seat will fit a 79 B, then shouldn't it fit a 77 B?
I should certainly think so. They are the same exact frame. The '80 was different.

Why don't you buy one and let me know?? ;)

I'd LOVE to have one of those...

I can't belive the backrest costs as much as the seat!! $299 for the seat and like $269 for the backrest... I just need a backrest for my current seat... But if I can't find one I may be stuck paying these high prices.

You added this question after I posted... I have a luggage rack on one of my 750s that was designed for it, but I don't have the backrest for that one.

I also have a backrest/luggage rack combo that I got from a fellow member that was not made for the 750, but was customized to fit.

Do you want pics of either of these, or would they not be of help to you?

Dude, you had my hopes up, but I didn't look at the site first.

Those are for 1000 Bs, not 750 Bs. I didn't think they'd care about the twins...

Just in case you find one, the 76-80 KZ750 twin seats will all interchange, 82 and 83 won't fit on a 76-80.

I have seen a couple of KZ750 twin luggage rack backrest combos on eBay, but they always went for more than I could afford.

Crap! So nobody makes an aftermarket seat or backrest for a twin?

I wouldn't say "nobody"... the one luggage rack I have that was made specifically for the twin has the fittings for a back rest, but I don't have it....

I think Dennis Kirk has one. It's a king/queen style and I wouldn't recommend it raises you up about 3 inches. My butt was always falling asleep after about 40 mins or so.
