ZRX Question
12 Oct 2026 17:53
My 78 KZ build is still going, getting down to details. As you may know I am doing all ZRX suspension which brings me to the question. Is this the proper indexing for the speedo gear on a ZRX?

Re: ZRX Question

Here’s a Zrx1200 that I happen to be working on.

Is it normal for the front brakes to rub a little[slight drag on wheel] after installing new pads? (ZRX) The calipers are from a 2005 and doubt have ever been rebuilt.

Meant to say rub a little. There is some friction on the wheel after new pads. When I spin the tire by hand it won't quiet make a full revolution.

Slightly drag is normal, if the pads back off too far you would have excessive lever travel to apply them again

After I correctly positioned the speedo gear for the ZRX it got way better. This site has been extremely helpful in my quest. I got info from another member that rectified the problem.
