Metzeler Cruisetec tires?

Searched forums, didn't find an answer....

82 kz550 LTD

Had anyone run Metzeler Cruisetec tires on the kz's?

It's time to plan some new tires...I used pirelli sport demons and they were fantastic. I love riding twisties, but I have enough not twisty riding that my tires are squared off....

I'm limited by size and availability....I cant get Roadtec's. The Cruisetecs state they are different compounds center vs edges....

However they are meant for heavier cruiser bikes. But googling shows that Rebel 500 guys are using them with no issue and that bike is slightly lighter. But, they may be more of a long highway kind of rider...

So has anyone given them a whirl? I'll order up more pirellis if it comes to it but thought I'd explore this option.

Thanks guy!

I don't have any personal experience, but they seem like a nice modern cruiser tire.  Metzeler  don't make junk.
