Unknown rear shocks

  Does anyone recognize my rear shocks. They were fitted to my KZ650 D2 1979. They seem to have an adjustment at top of the spring, another adjustment at the bottom of the spring, and a smsll lever right at the bottom that I suspect changes the damping to hard and soft.  Photo ‘s attached

Shocks look to be stock 650 from that era, but the swing arm is not stock, it looks to be custom made. I also see that the rear sprocket nuts have been drilled and wired for road racing.

Can you provide a better pic of the swing arm from the side, and not so close?

Factory shocks had an adjustment lever on the bottom?

Did not look close enough, but no those are not 650 shocks. Factory shocks did have adjustment on top but never had that type of bottom split mount, only a eyelet.

The 650 only ever had a round tube swing arm as stock.

Those shocks look a lot like 80' to 82' CB 750F/900F shocks.

Yes! Absolutely correct.
CB900 Bol d'or type SC09 shocks with a modified lower mount to stop the forked mount  being crushed.
