Fuel in gas tank boiling. Does heat shield tape work?

I'm looking to eliminate or at least reduce the boiling fuel in the gas tank of my ZL600. After riding the bike, it has a strong boil for several minutes when parked. The fan stays on for about 10 seconds after shutting off the bike.
Some options I'm considering are:
Putting heat shield tape on under side of gas tank.
Installing a lower tempeture thermostat and fan switch.
Do nothing and let it boil.

So, when was the last time you checked the fluid level or the water/AF? When was the last time you CHANGED the AF? Might be time?

Oh, how do you KNOW the fuel is "boiling"?

Once you shut off the engine and the fan stops, you can hear it boiling. When you open the gas cap you can see it boiling.

Check to see if the gas cap is venting. Spiders can get into the vent hole and block the gas fumes from escaping.

Sounds like BS but I have seen that happen.
