Where do these go

Ive a couple of 4.5 mm thick washers to go on one of the engine mounts where exactly do they go
i have a picture of before the strip down and the were out side the brackets a bit pointless fitted there

Not sure what model you have but on Partzilla they show those washers on the outside of the mounts for a 1982 KZ1100A2. Which makes sense if you don't have the crash guards in place. Your diagram shows them on the inside of the mount?

Its a gpz1100a1 it did have crash bars fitted ,ill fit them on the outside of the brackets there’s no room inside

My "K" has the same rubber mounts but didn't have the original bolt (it had a length of all-thread) but I noticed the mounting plate was bent where somebody had wound the bolt down to account for worn rubbers. Personally I would tighten down the rear and the front lower first, then when you bolt up the plate it will be obvious where the washers/spacers are needed for the mounting plate to be "happy" and not bent out of shape.

Mine had a piece of threaded bar as well with the washer on the outside doing nothing, i splashed £25 on the correct bolt but forgot to get it plated with the rest

Today 06:49I looked at those but I was too "cheap" so I made my own with stainless rod and welded some flange nuts on to make boltsMine had a piece of threaded bar as well with the washer on the outside doing nothing, i splashed £25 on the correct bolt but forgot to get it plated with the rest
