Simple question but probably not any simple answer, unfortunately. If they are original, probably not "air" shocks. They are air assist but "thinking" there might be an internal spring inside. I've never had one of these apart so maybe I'm completely wrong? What i would be concerned/looking for is a way to remove the piston. Then your battle would begin sourcing parts! I don't think these were serviceable units or at least anything out of the parts bin at Kawasaki. I believe they were Kayaba brand.
