1981 KZ-1100 A1 swapping shaft drive to chain drive.

1st- How much more power does the 2 bevel gears use over a chain drive. 2nd- Is it worth the hassle to swap them? A chain is a much simpler system with less mass and friction points. My gut says no, my brain says how much more power do you need! You only way 160 lbs. How ever another opinion and some feedback is always helpful and appreciated.

I would say not enough to notice any difference.
