Hello
i'm restoring a '76 z900-a4.
I have to replace clutch lever and support because the installed one isn't original.
can anyone make a photo of the original components and/or tell me which models used same components so i can find it on the internet?

I also need the saddle keylock and the chain guard. is it possibile to found it in eu?

Thank you in advance.

Kawasaki and partzilla have diagrams. partzilla doesn't have cross-reference info for the perch. several are listed on ebbayy. the 73 Z1 and 1000A have different part numbers. I didn't check any other models or the lever.   KAWASAKI OEM HOLDER,CLUTCH LEVER | 46094-017.

The KZ900A and B used similar to the picture Wookie provided but they didn't start using the clutch lock-out switch with lead shown till 1978. Also the BIG thumbwheel cable adjuster wasn't used till 1978 also. The barrel where cable "metal" end inserts used a "2" line adjuster, not the singular line one on the Z1. They also used this "non-switch hole" perch on the KZ400 of the same year and several other models too. I only mention KZ400 because they usually sell cheaper because 400's don't bring much money and person's selling "usually" don't realize the interchange capabilities. Seat locks for the KZ900 were kinda special. They used a two-piece "hook", one fatter, one thinner plate riding together on the pin. Both single and two-piece interchange though. And merely finding a lock...I'd imagine You would want all the three pieces to match using the same key??

Thanks Clay - this is a "supersession" part number so being compatible to 78 etc makes sense

Makkio, Part number You seek is 46094-017 (Perch NO Hole) and 46092-022or023 (Lever). These items are abundantly available. Ones everyone are showing have the hole for the switch, totally unnecessary. Your stock wiring harness won't support it, nowhere to plug it into unless You tap into the wiring to solenoid. Anyway a couple pics of the History of Z1/KZ and later J perches. Pics from left Early to right Newer.     Everybody is Also correct in "Function", the other ones will definitely work but You said (Restore). That brings about a whole different meaning, to me at least, for correctness.
