trying to get this dang thing to a state in which it can be enjoyed
RWU fork swap height was created by rowdyj3
Bike: 86kz1000p
Front end: 2000 zx9r with the kz stem swapped over
Once upon a time I got ahold of a bike. Tried to get it running right, one thing led to another and went further than I should've but here we are.
I did a fork swap [among other things]
Moving around in the military and staying in apartments with no garage led this project to go on far too long.
I want this thing mobile under its own power for fun and convenience. All it needs is a wiring harness (going to go with the x21, whole other issue) and to lift the front end. I can't find any fork elevators for a 46mm adjustable fork. So my plan is to have a sort of bolt on triple drop/fork riser. Thoughts? See attached photos.
Are there other ways to lengthen the rwu zx9 forks?
