KZ200 front brake O-ring size was created by RossH
Hello,

I need to replace the 4 o-rings on the two bolts that hold the front brake caliper together on my '78 KZ200. Does anyone know the specific size of these o-rings? They are number 3 in the linked diagram:  www.partzilla.com/catalog/kawasaki/motor...kz200-a1/front-brake  . I do not see the dimensions listed in either the factory manual or the Haynes manual.

Thanks in advance,
Ross

Sorry I will not be of any help on the size of the o-rings. But I did do some looking at several different part list sites and the part number shown (43063-001) when searched for brings up a bracket that holds the brake line but no mention of the o-rings? The bracket is not shown in the parts pics?

Yeah, I found that odd, too. They call the o-rings a brake hose bracket, but that's clearly not what they are. They don't list the o-rings.

You're probably going to have to remove the bolts and measure some stuff. Digital calipers might be handy.
A metric nitrile or viton o-ring kit might have a size that will work. Viton is probably preferable.

ps: I use Permatex ultra brake caliper grease on stuff like this. I don't think it comes in the little packets any more. A small tube is listed on their site instead.
