Then pick the forks that look the best to you. Most any modern set of brakes will out perform the brakes that came on your KZ.Mainly for the looks and better braking.

I had the forks of Mrs. slayer's bike rebuilt by a friend who is familiar with such witchcraft, including new straight rate Sonic springs. Then I rebuilt the calipers with fresh seals. Added Braking brand rotors and radial master cylinder from the same folks. Steel braded lines and Viola! Brakes like never before without the extra effort of faffing about with new forks!

Hey Scirocco, for your ZX9R front forks, did you use the stock ZX9R triple clamp? If so, did you have to make any modifications or experience any challenges? This question also goes out to anyone who has converted their front forks to the 94-97 ZX9R front forks on their KZ. Thanks
