I stopped to get gas this morning before my commute to work and I went to reset the trip meter and it just started to free spin. There was no binding or pop or anything. Now the trip reset knob can be pulled all the way out of the speedometer. I got back on the road so I wouldn’t be late and now the speedometer doesn’t work. Halfway through the 40 mile ride to work I hit a bump and it jumped to 10MPH and stayed there. The weird thing is the odometer still works and the trip meter is also going up. I’ll attach some pictures but some advice on what to do or if anyone has had this problem before and could help out would be great. Thank you

Time for a new speedo. Lots of them on eBay.

You may need to get a replacement speedometer.
possible fitment other than the 750H: KZ650-CSR. KZ750-CSR (Twin). KZ1000-CSR.
Here's a KZ650-CSR meter I took apart. the reset knob is LH threaded.

Um, how did you fix it? Was that just press fit in or something? Also, better than new?!?!? haha.

Have you replaced the bulbs with LEDs?
