Does this key number go with the vin number of a bike? If so does anyone here have such bike and need this?

Not specific to VIN....just goes with all other locks on the bike eg. ignition, seat lock helmet holder

FYI - Those type of keys go in aftermarket switch barrels, it might say Kawasaki on it but that Z number is what is stamped on the barrel of Emgo switches.

I believe that's an original Kawasaki key. My '79 Kz650 came with key number Z59xx from the factory. I don't think an Emgo key would say "Kawasaki" on it.
Oh, and no, the key numbers have no relation to the VIN number. I think the key number is randomized at the factory.
There really aren't that many unique key numbers. For example, the 1978 Z1-R only has 45 different key numbers, and they made 17k units.
'78 Z1-R in blue , '78 Z1-R in black, '78 Z1-R in pieces
My dad's '74 Z1
