Can a new windshield be found? What might be a different choice for the original fairing, or without fairing. Mine is in terrible condition.

I have no experience with these, but a quick search brought them up.

If you want to remove the entire fairing, you can replace it with whatever you want.

If the fairing itself is in bad shape, it may be repairable, or you might be able to locate a decent used one as many owners remove them completely.
You might also be able to adapt something like a H-D batwing. An old Vetter would be another choice. If you want smaller, a bikini fairing like the ELR, GPZ and ZRX could be adapted, or you could even go with a large, clear windscreen with no fairing like the KZ1000C police bikes used.
It all depends on what you want the end product to be and how much you are willing to spend and how much fabrication you can do.

Is it worth talking to your local PD, I would imagine Cops get through a few screens so they may have a supplier that we aren't aware of ????

I bought my replacement windscreen from these guys
Cee baileys
. They make aircraft windshields. I don't see any MC windscreens on their site so they may have stopped making them. It might be worth contacting them anyway.
