Can anyone point me in the right direction for finding a quality reproduction seat cover for a 1974 Z1 900?
Thank you in advance.

I have done a few seats with several different covers and have not been satisfied with any. However there is one supplier in the UK that supposedly has the best cover out there. Might try Zpower
www.z-power.co.uk

I have been purchasing the complete seat from Doremi and they are great seats. PMC also makes a seat but the Doremi is much nicer. If your foam is decent a cover could be the way to go if not buy a complete  seat. The foam I have had is not quite right. Doremi seats are hard to get but what I understand some are coming into stock at Doremi USA. You need to email them and get you name on one of the seats that are on the way.

Thank you for the advise, I just put my order in at Z-Power.  Total with shipping was $85 to USA.

If it's what you need that seems like a good price, is there likely to be any customs charges on top of that? I sent some small parts to Spain from the UK recently and the charges were more than the value of the part

That is all I was charged on their website.  It was 30 Pounds for the seat and an additional 35 pounds for the shipping.  Converted to US dollar it was 85$ total.
I'm not in a big hurry for the seat cover so I'll see what happens.  I apologize if the Pound is not the correct term for the currency in the UK now

Seat cover came today (4 days only) from across the pond !  I opened the box but did not take it out of the clear plastic bag yet.  No additional charges for customs either.
Will get a picture on here over the weekend.

Took seat cover out of the packaging this weekend.  Now I need to get a few small holes in the seat pan welded up and get it powder-coated.

I've heard the early Z1's had black seat foam visible through the holes in seat pan.  Here is what mine looked like when I took foam off pan.
Also a pic of the pan with a few small holes that need to be patched or welded.

Yes that is correct. My early 74 also has black foam visible at the holes.
