I had a 5-10mm difference in width, same size tires, between Pirelli and Shinko.

That happens I guess. I went with a lower profile tire to help with the handling of one of my other bikes but it’s also handy to see the rotations per mile to get an idea for wear and whatnot. Also to get an idea of speedo inaccuracies.
