Replacement front master cylinder part numbers was created by Jim81CSR
I have an issue with the front master cylinder on my 1981 KZ100 CSR. - it's made for the higher "pull-back" o handlebars, which I've replaced with flatter "touring" bars. My issue IS that the reservoir is now at an angle, so I'd like to replace it with the part from the KZ1000J.
Can someone please let me know what part number(s) are required for conversion?

You can get part numbers off various OEM parts sources like Partzilla.com. That said, it's unlikely that Kawasaki still sells master cylinders, and if they do, they will be crazy expensive.
My 750 with lower bars than stock uses a rectangular reservoir type EX650 master cylinder that I purchased off ebay. Since those bikes are much newer than our KZ bikes, it's fairly easy to find a nice clean sample for low dollars. In the end though, any master with a 5/8" or 16mm bore will work for your bike. And don't forget to find a master with a threaded mirror lug.
