need tips on buying spokes 1977 kz1000a1

Does anyone have experience with picking the right place to buy spokes ?
I have a stock wheel and the rim is ok looking but the spokes are a bit either rusty or corroded so I want to replace them with new ones. I see where Buchanan in Azusa Ca. is a top seller but I just thought someone here might be more familiar with this topic.
Thank you

Yes. Absolutely go to Buchanan for spokes. I have used them several times in the past for weird concoctions. (I have hub X and rim Z, for example) and they sent the spokes to make it happen.  You couldn't do better

Buy stainless spokes.  I've used many brands (Excel, Pro Wheel, etc), Buchannon isnt the only game in town.

Sometimes an owner simply wants a daily rider to look better without much outlay in time & materials. There's a quick & dirty way to make spokes look much better without replacing them.

Solvent-based aluminum paint.  Small jars of just a few ounces can be purchased at hobby shops and some hardware stores.  A small hobby brush, a little thinner to clean the brush when done, and a couple hours to paint the spokes is all that's needed.  From 10 ft. at a glance it will make spokes look pretty good on a budget.

We'd only suggest this if the spokes are straight & sound, and also if the nipples aren't seized with rust, so that spoke tension can still be adjusted.  True the wheel before painting.
