Has anyone put the front forks, possably trees from a 1981 LTD on a 1978 LTD? The 81 has a leading axle, which im sure would slow down the steering. Thankyou to all of you!
The bikes with a leading axle usually have different triple clamp offset to compensate, check the trail numbers of both front ends, less trail = quicker steering
