Hey guys I have a bead on a set of ZX6 wheels, can I use the front wheel with my stock 78 LTD forks or MUST I do a front end swap?

Take a tape measure out to the shop/garage & take note of the available real estate BETWEEN the forks. Is there room for the wheel?
Assuming there is, look at brake caliper diameters. Are they even close? If they're close, you're getting closer. What about axle diameter for wheel VS forks?
There are many things to examine, but these are the obvious. Most swaps I have done put newer forks to an older wheel. On my race bike I put R6 forks to a Yamaha TX 750 wheel. On my road bike, I put GSXr forks to my old Astralites.
Sorry for the poor pic quality above But in both cases, custom fabrication was required for caliper hangers and wheel spacers etc.

In case you want to do a front end conversion, I have a set of 04 zx6r forks for sale.
You would need the triple's though.
Good luck on your measurements. Either way, you would need to do a good bit of fabbing to get it to work with your current front end.
