I am hoping someone with more knowledge can answer.
I have a 79 KZ750b with a rear wheel I am rebuilding. I have found a new spoke set that says it fits 76-78 KZ750b. I am wondering if these will work or if the rear tire size changed in 1979?
thanks

They will not work. KZ750B has a rear disk/conical hub. KZ650B has a rear drum/standard hub. The KZ1000A used the same rear wheel as the KZ750B if you are looking for model overlap.

According to the cross-reference at Partzilla the KZ750-B1 thru B4 models used the same rear spokes.
Here's a link. click the part for the x-ref.

I love partzilla, but this is an example of its limitations. Partzilla lists these spokes as unique to the KZ750B, however if you visit Buchanan's, they list the spokes being the same between KZ1000 and KZ750. maybe a different factory finish to warrant different part numbers?

Thanks. Just pointing out that Partzilla confirms that the spoke set he found should work.
I always start w the part numbers & cross-reference, then go from there.

Totally misread the original post thinking he wanted 650 spokes for a 750! d'oh!

The info is still useful. Kinda weird that the x-ref showed the front wheel spokes the same as some other models but not the rear.
