Front Wheel Fit Up
08 Jun 2021 09:38
When mounting the wheel, is there a trick or technique to torquing the axle properly? Also, in what order should it all be done. the book says to tighten the axle clamp front first then rear leaving the small gap at the rear, makes sense. But do I tighten the axle first and then the clamps or vice versa?
thank you!!

So loosely do up the clamp bolts, then the axle, then the speedo drive(which is already in its spot, then the front clamp nut then the rear.
I did read through this but the version of the manual i have confused my little brain.
thank you sir for the reply.

Your bike will be same sequence. Check torque value. Make sure you use a Factory Service Manual.
