Aloha guys.
I finally got all the parts I need to rebuild my front fork but ran into a snag. Well, kind of. As you can see, my bike is 82 750 and the front fork have air pressure equalizer, right above the bottom triple. And because of this, both fork tube has hole. Now, Kawasaki service manual states that
1). You need to compress the fork tube several times to expel all the air out.
2). Then you need to fully compress the fork tube, without spring, and measure the oil level.
My problem is, that when you fully compressed the fork tube, oil oozes out from the equalizer hole. I can probably tape the hole with duct tape or something, but I wanted to ask if there was another way to do this.
Anybody have any experienced with what I'm encountering right now?
