Anybody replaced rear brake pads lately? I have a 76 750b. The replacement pads I found have two nubs on the backside that are preventing me from getting enough clearance for disc. Anybody deal with this? See pic, left is new, right is old pad.

I have an A and B pad. The shape is perfect. It’s the backing that is screwy. Even with piston all the way in, I can’t open them up enough to fit rotor between them.

Did your rear calpier Piston had an opening like a bucket or is he pluged with a black plastic plug (removable)? Any pics would help.
Edit: IMO, It´s nothing wrong if you grind the nubs flat to get the clearence you need.

I used a dremel and ground nubs flush. Worked fine. Thank you.
