7mm x 1.0 pitch
From the diagrams at Partzilla my 1981 KZ650-CSR has the same brake bleeder as the 83 440-Ltd Belt & I got the SB7100 speed bleeder set from Z1Enterprises.com. Z1Ent >> Goodridge speed bleeder SB7100 - 7mm x 1.00 - Pkg 2

Tokico -> M7x1,0mm
Nissin -> M8x1,25mm
Brembo - > M10x1,0mm
Spiegler - > M8x1,0mm
If 4 mm on 4 threads = 1,0 mm pitch
If 5 mm on 4 threads = 1,25 mm pitch
Nissin -> M8x1,25mm

Thanks! I am ordering parts to rebuild an original master cylinder and the calipers. My order was short by $5 to get free shipping so I figured I might as well get the spend the money for speed bleeder instead of shipping.

I just wanted to say thanks to the people in this forum for all the great info that helped me not only rebuild this master cylinder but the caliper as well. First time doing both and the end result was worth the effort. I just need to figure out what I need as far as a brake line now. (fittings, hose length)

CycleBrakes.com has Galfer brake lines which have the crimped-on fittings. I installed Goodridge lines & fittings from Z1Enterprises.com. When getting Goodridge be sure to account for the length of the fittings (a straight fitting adds 15/16" to the length). ....Assuming the stock upper line is too long: To figure out the needed length of the upper line, you could disconnect the brake joint there at the forks, lower it until the brake line looks right, measure the overage, then subtract the overage from the stock length.
Fr br master cylinder. I installed Emgo Euro bars from Z1Ent & the stock mc was tilted like yours, so I installed a master cylinder from a late model Honda CBR500. The Honda mc has less tilt than the stock mc. I plan on installing superbike bars which may lessen or eliminate the tilt. The CBR mc has a modern br light switch, so I replaced the stock brake light switch & wires w the wiring assy from a 1000P police.

I like the look of the crimped on fittings more than the ones from Z1 but haven't decided which way I an going to go yet. The line on it looks like it was original but it isn't the split one shown in the parts diagram. Then again, the diagram doesn't list it being for the D5 and my bike has a hose clamp between the forks where the line splitter would have been that looks to be original so I really don't know. Anyway, it will be easy to measure out once I figure out what I want.
I don't mind the tilt it has. I wanted an original master for the bike and if I decide to replace the bars back to the original ones, it will be perfect.
Thanks for the info. Your advice is always appreciated.

In the diagrams for the 440-D5, there's a 920mm brake line listed, so some models probably had a single line. (920mm = 36"). The clamp bracket is in the Fork diagram. The 83 GPz 305 had a single line w bracket that has guides for the brake line. I think the guides kind of clamp the brake line & I assume the 440 w single line is basically the same. A similar bracket is listed in the diagrams for the 650-CSR & there's a long brake line listed (1090 mm), so I think some of those csr models had a single Fr brake line. I'd been wondering about that for a while, but just now investigated it.

The line that is on it is about 40" +or- so I guess it probably is original . I hadn't looked at the diagram for the bracket until you mentioned it and it is the one on the bike. With the taller bars I bet the length it is would be about right.
Thanks for that info.
