1979 KZ750 Swing Arm was created by ccammo
Hey Everyone, just took off the swing arm for the 750B and I can't get the sleeve out. Does anyone know how to get the sleeve out so that you can get to the needle bearings? I'm just not sure if it is able to be removed and I don't want to damage it. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Take a look in the Kawasaki Service Manual. If you do not own one you should buy one, but in the mean time one can be found at:

If you didn´t get the sleeve out you need a lot of penetraiting oil and rust disovler. These parts can be totally rotten together over the decades and can a PITA to remove. Some heat will/can effect an easy out.

Thanks Ed, I actually have a spiral bound maintenance manual that my wife bound for me! I use that thing constantly and it's a super helpful resource.
Check below and see what i'm pointing out, the manual just says pull out the sleeve, lol. and it AINT budging!
I will definitely try some heat though, should I just apply it all around the end of the swing arm or just one side? I know there's a grease nipple there as well, should I remove that as well along with trying to get as much grease out as possible?

If you can´t get the sleeve out try to boil the swing arm part in vinegar or citric acid to disolve the rust on the parts.
The heat will expand the parts and support the penetraiting.
