KZ1000 Tank Identification? was created by Allshookup
I have a KZ1000 gas tank I bought and was told it was a specific year.
The tank has a slightly raised strip along the top where the gas cap is then it smooth out and blends in with the back of the tank. I have attached a picture.
Without telling what year I was told, can anybody enlighten me to what year and model this tank style was available?
Thanks for your help,

Yeah, it's a 1981/2 US J model.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

It looks like a J, but I don't think so. I don't remember that raised part up on top. It's been a while though.
