I'm going to replace the seals on the forks, but once I took the top dust cap off I was expecting to find a cap bolt to unscrew to open the forks. Instead I found this. Is it just covering the bolt? How do I get it off? Any advice is appreciated

there is a circlip holding that plug in. push down on the plug to compress the fork spring, then remove the circlip. Do you have a service manual?

Thank you, I figured it out. It confused me because the service manual said it would be a bolt. Thanks for the help

Mine are the same, is there a circlip? I could not see one.
