82 KZ1000 k1 ltd seat

Wasn't really sure where to put this.
I'm having a little trouble finding a seat for my 1982 KZ1000 K1 LTD.
Will a 82 kz1100 seat fit on the kz1000 frame ?
I see a lot of single saddle seat's from police models.
Pretty sure they will fit but I don't really like the look of those.
Of if you know what other model seats that would fit ?
Any help would be great.

Are you missing the seat or does yours just need recovering?
From the cross-reference at Partzilla, the 81-82 KZ1000 Ltd & CSR models had the same seat.
I saw a couple on EB, but they were expensive & needed recovering.
The 1100 Spectre seat looks similar to my eye & uses some of the same hardware, but I have no idea if it will fit.

I know the seats for this model are VERY expensive.
No my machine does not have a seat at all right now.
So ordering the wrong seat could be costly.
I am pretty sure that the cop seats would fit.
Probably from 82 all the way to 05. I just don't like the overgrown bicycle seat look

I really need to know. Will a 96 police seat fit on my 82 KZ1000 LTD frame ?
I don't want to screw this up.
