Swingarm Suggestions

I am seriously thinking about replacing the swingarm, (using dual rear suspension, no extended swingarm, no mono-shock conversion kit). My bike is a 1978 KZ1000 LTD.

When it comes to installing a different swingarm brand that does not require major modifications, what do you guys suggest?

Apologies if this has been asked before. I tried a search but most old thread images are no longer available.

Do you mind posting a picture of your swingarm mods?

Back in the day, installing an aluminum swingarm from a Suzuki GS 1000 / 1100 was popular. It is a very straight forward swap. Usually just a washer or two on each side where the pivot bolt goes through, and installation of shocks with a clevis rather than eye on the bottom.

There are new aluminum arms available if you don't mind the price.
